WOW! Peterborough is awesome! Thank you so much to everyone who came out today in support the YWCA's "Walk A Mile" event. Over two hundred "brave" men dawned the now infamous red heels and helped to raise a lot of dough for the Crossroads Safe Haven Campaign. Over $50, 000 raised in one day. Fantastic! It was an honour to be a part of this great event today and I am glad the weather cooperated. A big thanks to all of those who came to cheer us on.
As for the weather tomorrow...well, we could see some rain into the afternoon. Although Sunday is looking good. Full details tonight at 11pm on Newswatch.
