10 degrees! 10!!! As the title of the blog says: "now that's more like it!" We started out the day at -7 and, thanks to a southerly push of warm air ahead of an approaching cold front (see the image above) we gained 17 degrees by 2pm. Even though this frontal passage will also bring a few showers to the region, the cloud cover will at least trap in some of that heat we gained today resulting in a very mild overnight across the Kawarthas. How mild? We'll likely hover around the freezing mark tonight (hopefully above it) which is a heck of a lot better than the -7 we "enjoyed" last night.Wednesday, November 3, 2010
