Hopefully you had a chance to enjoy today's mild weather. We hovered around our seasonal average for much of the afternoon and it felt almost "balmy" at times in Peterborough. Well, maybe not balmy but that sun sure felt nice. Unfortunately this "warm-up" will be short lived. As that system just south of us continues its easterly track it opens the door for another "Arctic High" to move into the region and put us all back in the freezer. The above image is from the latest NAM forecast model run. That high looks to park itself just west of us over the weekend resulting in a cold, northerly wind. Expect a high temp on Saturday that is barely out of the minus double digits and a low temp close to minus 20. Oh...and that's not factoring in the windchill. Brrrrr....

More Chilly Weather
