Get ready for the warm-up! Looking at the latest models, things are looking to get well above seasonal as we edge closer to the weekend. All of that warm, moist air pushing onto the B.C. coast is finally making it's way to the east. That ridge that has blessed the prairies with mild weather for the last few days will be here just in time for the weekend and we'll start to feel some of that warmth tomorrow. The image above is from the latest NAM run and over the next 24 hours we'll be pinched between a high to the south and a low to the north that is going to funnel in a lot of warm air. Expect a high on Friday of 2 degrees and we look to stay above the freezing mark into Saturday as well. As Glen Frey would say..."the heat is on!"

Pretty disappointed Jay. Peterborough and winter go together. Ski. board, snowshoe get out and enjoy the snow.
Who wants freezing rain?
