Exit Strategy
Finally an exit strategy! No I’m not about to discuss mid-east military policy…we’re still talking weather here. I’m talking about that stubborn low that has been just sitting and spinning over the region. That upper level low that has been here for a number of days now. That same low responsible for the cool down, the rain and even that hail earlier this week near Lindsay. Yes, that same area of low pressure that almost put a damper on the fireworks and our Canada Day parade here in Peterborough. (We did catch a break there). Well, get ready to say goodbye to an old friend. That high over Newfoundland that was blocking the low’s departure will do so no more and that massive dip in the jet stream over the province (or should I say under) looks to level out. We still have a bit of wet weather ahead of us but at least some sunshine is just around the corner. Goodbye? More like good riddance!
